Shot sizes are a selection of static shot compositions

There are. close-ups which typically start with the shoulders at the bottom of the frame, and the top of the head cropped out or barely in frame

Then there's medium close-up, which starts just below the chest and stops at the same point as the top of the frame

mid shots which start with the waist at the bottom

medium longs where the bottom of the frames is at the thigh

longs which feature the whole body

I personally like to use medium close-up and medium longs most because they feel more consistent with the natural FOV of a person, or at least what someone can notice at the same time
