exposure and peaking practice

in this lecture we practiced managing exposure and preventing peaking using a piece of black and white card to see where the light peaks i learned that other people prefer a higher exposure than I do as I personally like to keep the iso aslow as possible to reduce grain obviously this can mean i need lower shutter speed and wider apeture the cons of this is that a moving subject or any movement of the camera can negatively impact the resultant image for example in this photo i took at another time you can se that some of the edges are blurred from slight movements
